About the Principal If true entrepreneurs are born, not bred, then Jim Sapp is certainly an example. He grew up in rural Nebraska, where he started a paper route and neighborhood house-painting business at the age of eight. He expanded his painting business in high school, and worked on many of the area farms to bring in extra money. After graduation from the University of Nebraska, Mr. Sapp worked for nearly 10 years in the healthcare industry, and an additional 10 years brokering loans and leases. Mr. Sapp has parlayed his working knowledge of the business world into a successful consulting business. For more than 20 years, Mr. Sapp has guided corporate clients to financial profitability. He founded and managed a successful automotive services franchise. He purchased a struggling leasing company, redesigned its operations strategy, and led it to profitability within nine months. Most recently, Mr. Sapp managed the start-up of a financial services company. He has created and built e-commerce sites; facilitated successful working relationships among members of a large, family-owned business; served in an advisory capacity with a variety of corporate and civic boards; and acted as a consultant for corporate real estate development. This national and international experience has provided an invaluable basis for his consulting expertise. Over the course of his career, Mr. Sapp has been recognized for his achievements with the regional "Entrepreneur of the Year Award" and "Best of America" award semi-finalist. In 2002, Mr. Sapp completed the Stanley K. Lacy Leadership Education and Development program. He maintains a corporate affiliation in the Better Business Bureau and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Sapp currently resides in Carmel, Indiana with his wife and four children.
